Hi, I'm Deanne Vortherms. I grew up on a dairy farm outside Ellsworth, Minnesota. On the family farm I learned how to milk cows, gather eggs, walk beans, as well as bale straw and hay. While in high school, I participated in music, drama, and cheerleading.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Sioux Falls College in 1984. My teaching career began at Tri-Valley in 1985. I've been in 4th grade ever since.
My husband, Jeff, and I have two
children. Our son, Connor, attends Tri-Valley. Our daughter,
McKenzie, was born in January of 2001. They keep us very busy.
